Museum of Nanchang August 1 Uprising is situated at Zhongshan Road, Nanchang City.
Its original name is Jiangxi Hotel, a five-storey gray building, where the headquarter for the Nanchang August 1, 1927 Uprising was located, when it took place. in 1959, the building was changed into “Museum fo the Nanchang August 1 Uprising”, with the name written by Marshal Chen Yi in person.
There are a large number of photos, diagrams, objects and documents at the museum, which displaying the gestation, preparation, eruption and development of the Nanchang Uprising.
